Knowing God is not that difficult. Men, women and children have been doing it for thousands of years. It does start with a genuine desire to know God and to know the truth.
In today’s culture truth has been reduced to “something relative ” to a certain situation or personal desire. In many cases the truth is completely covered with lies. But in reality truth is absolute and worthy of being known and obtained. The foundation of truth is God himself. The holy Bible is the word of God and is the basis for all truth.The Bible says the Truth will set you free. It is God’s revelation of Himself to mankind for this time we live in until He brings heaven to earth. I will try not to give you my opinions in the space but what I share will always be based on what God’s Word says.
Knowing God is a process, a relationship. He created us to have a personal and intimate relationship with Him. No matter what your history or present condition, He loves you more than you can know. Every relationship with God is life-changing; and starts with Jesus. The Bible states that no one has access to God except through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the son of God (John 20:31) God became a man and sacrificed Himself for us, you and me, so that we could be forgiven of our sins and turn to a loving relationship with Him. He became the sacrifice for All the sins of ALL mankind , for All time. Jesus is God’s plan for everlasting life! Think about this for a moment. Everlasting life. We were created for Eternity!
Our sin separates us from God who loves us. We have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.(Rom. 3:23) Jesus took our place to pay the price for our sins and died a horrible death on the cross, Gods sacrifice for us. There is no other payment for sin. there is no other access or way to GOD. THIS IS THE WAY which God made for us to receive forgiveness and enter in to His everlasting glory which He has prepared for each one of us. God says anyone who trusts in the sacrifice Jesus made for them, I will forgive their sins and except them as my children. You will receive eternal salvation and live Forever, amazing and so true. If you pray this prayer from your heart with sincerity God will hear your prayer and answer you and reveal himself to you and save you. ” God have mercy upon me, I am a sinner, I repent of my sins. Jesus please come into my heart and forgive me ,be the Lord of my life and change me, help me to be the person you created me to be and fill me with your Holy Spirit.” This is the beginning of a new life and a new eternity. Start reading the Bible for yourself and grow in your faith. There will be questions and struggles but now you have the Lord Jesus by your side and the Holy Spirit living in you to teach and lead you. Jesus promised he will never leave you or forsake you and that the Holy Spirit is always available to teach you, guide you and strengthen you.The Lord will provide for you. Trust him with all of your heart. He is the creator of all things and worthy of all our love and praise and gratitude.
